…Christmas! We’ve got our little tree up and our cards ready to get out, and I’ve got a couple of projects up my sleeve! I’m going to attempt to make us these Christmas stockings from the fabric in the photo, and I have big plans to make fun cookies this year too. I usually feel like I don’t get into the Christmas spirit until the day AFTER Christmas, so I’m trying to get started early this year!
Hey everybody! I’m Andy and Laura’s new toothbrush holder. Laura broke the old one trying to clean it too vigorously. Oops! I came from Target and only cost $4.99. Laura liked me because I have a slot for the toothpaste….PLUS I have this adorable smiley looking face. How could she resist?!

Thanks for all your comments on my cry for fashion help last week! Y’all are braver souls than I when it comes to layering and mixing and matching. I ended up finding a beautifully perfect dress at the thrift store for only $4.00! It was the only remotely appropriate-for-the-occasion dress that I saw there, and it fit me like a glove.
I have some great black patent peep-toe shoes that I got for my rehearsal dinner, and I can throw on a black cardigan if it is chilly. I like that it is modest but not boring. I can’t wait to wear it to my work event, and then get A. to take me out somewhere nice so I have an excuse to wear it again! 
Have y’all heard of this website called Design Seeds? I discovered it because the Amateur Librarian kept “pinning” all these BEAUTIFUL color palettes on Pinterest, and when I followed the links Design Seeds is where it took me! Here’s one I’m loving right now…but I feel like I could scroll through these all day. It makes me want some rooms to paint!
